About this role
This isn't a "post on schedule, maintain the channels" execution role. You'll own the social voice of 3–5 core accounts (brand partners and collaborating creators), running the full stack from content strategy and production through to community and creator partnerships. Here, taste and judgement outweigh job titles — if your work travels, your opinion carries weight. You'll report to the Social Media Lead and work alongside our strategy, creative and client success teams.
What you'll own
- Content strategy & executionBuild and run editorial calendars for your accounts across TikTok, Instagram, X, RED and Threads.
- Content productionIndependently produce graphics, short-form video scripts and copy; collaborate with design and production for finished assets.
- Trend captureSurface three cultural moments worth doing each week, and turn them into platform-native content within 24–48 hours.
- Community managementLead day-to-day comments, DMs and community engagement; build real connections between audience and brand.
- Creator partnershipsBrief and manage collaborating creators end-to-end, from outreach to performance review.
- Analytics & iterationTrack engagement, completion rate, follower growth and conversion weekly. Codify what works, kill what doesn't.
- Cross-team workTranslate client briefs into truly social-native content that actually travels.
Who we're looking for
Experience
- 1–3 years in social media, content or influencer marketing
- You've independently run at least one account with a real audience (personal, brand or creator)
- Fluent across at least three major platforms — you understand the algorithm logic, not just the UI
Skills
- Strong taste — you can tell when something reads truly native to a platform versus templated
- Data-sharp — you can spot what's broken in a set of numbers without being told
- Sharp written voice in Chinese and English, with a feel for brand tone
- Self-driven; you don't need to be micro-managed

- You actually play on social — it's not just your job

- You can move fast, change direction, and stay calm doing it
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with US / global social ecosystems (TikTok US, Instagram, X)
- Video scripting or basic editing
- An active account of your own on RED Notes, Instagram, TikTok or other major creator platforms
- Comfortable working in English day-to-day
